The mission of our business is to help spark transformation. We use our proprietary Story Circles process to develop a unique, creative vision that helps to enhance the project’s impact, and sparks transformation through a compelling story.

Cause-Based Design

Storyland Studios proudly incorporates our brand, PlainJoe, dedicated to partnering with mission-driven organizations, from nonprofits to educational institutions and churches. PlainJoe empowers these organizations to share their vision, tell their stories, and maximise their impact. Each project allows us to create spaces that embody the heart and mission of the organization, inspiring communities to come together in support of a greater cause.

Sustainable Design

Our commitment to sustainable design isn’t just a goal—it’s embedded in everything we do. Our team is comprised of experts with the knowledge and experience to develop innovative, sustainable designs, holding qualifications such as LEED AP, and NCARB etc. Our team works to the latest environmental codes and regulations, and many of our projects are in a LEED qualifying standard, regardless of whether the client seeks to achieve LEED certification. We consider design through a sustainability lens; we consistently leverage new ideas and innovations, working closely with the client, our suppliers, and our peers.

Investing in the Next Generation

We believe in empowering the next generation of creative professionals. Through our internships, mentorship programs, and initiatives like the Design Challenge, we welcome young talent to our industry, helping them build skills and gain experience while infusing our team with fresh perspectives. These programs provide hands-on experience across a wide array of disciplines, allowing interns to learn from industry legends and cultivate a passion for creating immersive, impactful spaces. We are proud that many of our interns go on to secure full-time roles within the company, proving that investing in the future of our industry is not just beneficial but essential.
