On a Mission to a Galaxy Far, Far Away

Following the successful design and development of the Las Vegas Mob Experience for the Tropicana, Storyland Studios was tasked with creating an immersive, location-based attraction based on the iconic Star Wars franchise. Our mission was to develop an engaging experience that would transport visitors to a galaxy far, far away while preserving the educational mission of the exhibit.

Solution

An Interactive Experience Featuring Iconic Star Wars Characters

Storyland Studios crafted an immersive concept for Star Wars: Where Science Meets Imagination, transforming it into a theatrical experience for its Las Vegas debut. Our team designed a backstory featuring young Padawan apprentices entering the Jedi Temple, where they learn the ways of the galaxy from a holographic Yoda.

The immersive exhibit concept was designed to envelop visitors in an interactive environment, featuring digitally augmented authentic props and models from Lucasfilm. Each display included an augmented reality overlay to enhance immersion and interactivity, allowing guests to engage with the exhibits in new and exciting ways. The experience would conclude with a 4D theatrical finale narrated by Yoda, providing a memorable ending for guests.

Transformation

Blending Education, Entertainment, and Galactic Storytelling

Although the project has not yet been brought to life, the collaboration with Lucasfilm and the Star Wars IP allowed Storyland Studios to explore new possibilities in immersive storytelling and design. The project demonstrated our team’s ability to create engaging environments that transport visitors into beloved fictional worlds, blending education with entertainment.
