This year marks the introduction of the TEA Global Experience Index, a new name with the same fresh global insights for the themed entertainment industry. The TEA Global Experience Index acknowledges that today’s world of carefully crafted, in-person experiences has evolved beyond the traditional definition of themed entertainment: theme parks, water parks, and museums.

Developed in partnership with leading organizations across the field, this report provides more than numbers alone — it offers a lens through which operators, developers, and creators can better understand the “experience economy” (as Joe Pine and Jim Gilmore so helpfully define it); identifying performance, spotting opportunities, and anticipating where this dynamic market is headed.

Produced in collaboration with the Themed Entertainment Association (TEA), Entertainment and Cultural Advisors (ECA), The Park Database (TPDB), and InPark Magazine, the TEA Global Experience Index presents a clear picture of engagement across major global regions, including Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA), Asia-Pacific, and the Americas.
