Ubisoft, a leader in interactive entertainment, sought to expand its reach into themed entertainment by creating immersive environments that bring its beloved game worlds and characters to life. The challenge was to design tech-enabled, fully immersive, multi-brand themed environments that offer a unique, interactive experience for visitors.
Solution
Dreaming Up Two Exciting Ubisoft Attraction Concepts
In 2021, Storyland Studios partnered with Ubisoft to create design concepts for both a full-scale Ubisoft theme park and an Ubisoft visitor attraction. These concepts, powered by Wander gamification technology from Alterface, focus on providing interactive experiences that blend indoor and outdoor elements. The designs aim to engage visitors by immersing them in the worlds of popular Ubisoft brands like Assassin’s Creed®, Brawlhalla®, and Watch Dogs®.
Storyland and Ubisoft unveiled these concepts at the IAAPA Expo in November 2021, announcing the first-ever Ubisoft Entertainment Center at Studios Occitanie Méditerranée in France. This destination will feature a mix of attractions based on Ubisoft’s iconic games and characters.

The collaboration between Storyland Studios and Ubisoft marks a significant step in the evolution of themed entertainment, offering guests an innovative experience where they can “play” in their favourite game worlds. The Ubisoft Entertainment Center in France is set to open in 2025, with design concepts for additional locations underway.
