Peter McGowan is the founder (along with his brother Mel), President & Chief Storyteller for PlainJoe and Storyland Studios. He is a champion of bringing clients’ unique stories to life by broadening their visual vocabulary beyond words and helping shape the cultural influence of their organizations.

Having worked with large-scale corporate clients such as Infinity, Nissan, IBM, and Johnson & Johnson, as well as creative pioneers including Disney, Universal, and Lego–Peter has a robust background in technology, art, and architecture which has equipped him to skillfully integrate these fields of design to tell immersive stories on the graphic and environmental stages. He is especially passionate about partnering with non-profit and cause-based organizations to reflect their missions with excellence and heart.

At the end of the day, he loves spending time with his wife, Jennifer, and their three kids making memories that usually involve Lego sets, Star Wars, Disney, or all three.

Rich Hurrey is a 25+ year veteran in the Animation / VFX Industry, spending over fifteen years as a Character TD. He is passionate and skillful in modeling, rigging, teaching, and team building.

Rich brings passion, energy and enthusiasm to anything he does. He is an excellent teacher of in-depth complicated processes and making sure fundamentals are prioritized and taught, a patient mentor and smart problem solver.

He is the founder of Silent Planet, AirSoftC3, and Kitestring Online. Over the last two years he has embarked on building Ozone Story Tech: a company dedicated to the development of unique technology, storytelling, and educational experiences. He is grateful beyond measure to be on this journey with his amazing wife and two incredible children.

Matthew Luhn is a top storytelling and creativity speaker, and the Disney/Pixar Veteran behind Toy Story, Monsters Inc., Finding Nemo, Cars, Up, Ratatouille, and more. He’s an international Fortune 500 storytelling consultant, award-winning writer & director, keynote speaker, branding consultant, and the author of The Best Story Wins! We welcome him as a friend of the Storyland Entertainment team.

Jason Bickerstaff is a 3D artist in the San Francisco Bay Area with over 25 years of experience in the production of 3D animated characters.

Jason spent 22 years as a Character Technical Director at Pixar Animation Studios where he sculpted, modeled for production or rigged characters. He transitioned from production work to the art department, where he specialized in 3D character concept sculpture.

Since then, he has moved fluidly between Art and Production. Jason’s sculpting experience can help bring a 2D character concept to a fully realized 3D sculpt. His production expertise allows him to create film-quality models ready for animation.

Jason Davies is a California-based Character Technical Director focused on modeling and rigging. He is passionate about creating tools that make things run smoother and more efficiently for those in the computer graphics industry.

Jason worked as a Character Technical Director for Blue Sky Studios and at Pixar Animation Studios for 14 years. While working at Pixar, he also spent time in tool development and rig prototyping. His experience within the different aspects of animation allows him to easily develop and create the tools, as well as use them to produce high quality characters.

Eric Soulvie is a software engineer from the Seattle Area who has spent the last 25 years working in and around the Film/TV/Game space. After spending the first half of his career at studios developing internal tools for movies and TV shows, he spent several years developing DCC software for others to use in their own productions. Most recently, he has led the engineering efforts for Ozone Story Tech. Specializing in high performance computing and low-level optimization, he partnered with Rich Hurrey to bring studio level animation tools with real-time performance to the masses.
